Customers promoting affiliate offers to their email list can tag every buyer in their email app automatically with WP Conversion Tracker (3.574 or newer), the Audience Vault add-on and WP Sync with the Connect Pack (1.0.82 or newer). No Make or Zapier.
The link in the email: put the subscriber’s email in the link, either in the sub-ID spot (yoursite.com/your-link/{subscriber email}) or as a parameter (yoursite.com/your-link?email={subscriber email}), using the email app’s own merge tag. Kit users can skip the merge tag: turn on Kit’s “Add subscriber_id parameter in email links” (Kit: Settings, Advanced) and the Audience Vault (1.5.11 or newer) recognises the subscriber from Kit’s ck_subscriber_id. It uses the Kit connection WP Sync already has, or a Kit API secret on the Audience Vault Settings tab.
Link settings: leave “Forward Sub-ID to Destination URL” Off on WarriorPlus links. The tracker already uses WarriorPlus’s own sub-ID fields for its click ID (shown in WarriorPlus stats as a tracking code like 0+542), and that is how the sale finds its way back to the click. WarriorPlus never shows subscribers’ emails, only that click ID. That is normal.
The sync: in WP Sync create a sync with source WP Conversion Tracker, list “Attached links – on Sale or Lead”, destination the email app with the action Add tag and the tag name (for example bought-skribbly). {sub_id} also works as a tag name. Then open the link in the tracker and tick that sync in its “Send to WP Sync” box.
The sale has to reach the tracker: the WarriorPlus Affiliate Pixel in Marketplace Connect, or JVZoo Connect for JVZoo.
Where to see it: the emails show in the tracker’s dashboard recent clicks (Sub ID column), in the link’s stats (from version 3.575 summed into one “Email subscribers” row, with “Show who clicked” underneath) and on the Conversions tab once someone buys. Only clicks made after updating carry the email. If a sale shows but no tag was added, check WP Sync’s Activity Log.
